A very nice game! Simple, heart-warming story and great pixel art, with some very cool final bosses! Enjoyed it a lot. Thank you very much for making it!
887.5 seconds, 1113 points and the game freezes on: the trial has been complete, what's next...
Are the ghosts and sword throwing boss the "end game" for 1.22? For those curious, I chose the green fairy mostly for the poison damage. Was very useful to use speed to out-maneuver enemies and damage/poison for hits.
I'm sorry that you had a freeze there, I thought that sort of bug was fixed for 1.22. If possible, I'd love to hear what happened around there (you can dm me on twitter) to prevent it from happening again, as you should've been able to click the "what's next..." button to continue. I can also send you the cheat code to have that trial be completed on your save file.
As to what's the "end game", each trial does end in a final boss with some ghost enemies floating around, and afterwards a small cutscene should play.
I will try again when I have time. Even though it seemed to freeze (could also been just me not realizing what was clickable when that screen come up), it was still worth trying again to see if it was a one off issue.
Sheesh. Needs a bit of a balance pass through. The beginning of the game is difficult but got easier as time went on for me for the first playthrough. However, when I tried the green girl I could do zero damage, and eventually had 4 bosses on screen at one time including almost every single enemy type. Here's even a picture probably 100-200 seconds before I died because I found out space bar does a thing which kills you.
Edit: after playing for a bit I guess green's special does some kind of AOE attack and it helps a lot. A balance pass may not hurt. Also would be kind of cute that if some of the upgrades changed the PC, like each mega milk you get it would reflect in your breasts, or the speedy thigh-highs if it changed the color of your current ones. etc.. enjoyable game.
It's stated in the controls screen what the Fairy's abilities do/how to activate them in more detail, and for Soul (The green one depicted here), you switch between two modes, one that is better defensively and the other that works very well offensively. It seems as though you stayed in the defensive mode, which deals reduced damage. If you never switch to the offensive mode, yes the game is going to be quite difficult. I'll see what can be done about making it more clear that the stance change is an option.
I actually had thought of adding different looks to the MC with certain items (particularly that Mega Milk), but we just didn't have enough time to fully implement them (since I would need to redraw all the parts). I like that stocking idea though, and will keep it in mind for the future.
That and a endless mode you unlock after getting the true ending where you play as a pregnant mc would be perfect for an enhanced edition version of the game.
Both the standing pictures and pixel art were cute, especially Crush was the cutest and the sprite of the fairy with the gradually growing belly. I was so engrossed in the battle during gameplay that I didn't notice it, but the big sprite appears when you get a skill. Cute!
Yes, sort of. It'll be fixed whenever we can update the game after the judging period, I have a build already made that'll be ready for whenever that happens
A successful little game. The overall flow of the game is short. But it's done very well. The exact gameplay is similar to the last 20 minutes before dawn (I don't know the origin of this gameplay). In fact, there is little pregnancy related content in the game. In the game, you can only see the fairies' growing bellies and pregnant bosses. But the elves end up with really big bellies, and they look great in cg. The main character will be pregnant in the main screen after the finale (three pregnant elves flying really cool) if there is an update to the game. I wish there was something in the game that would make the main character pregnant
I've currently posted a compilation of all the visual assets on my Patreon! That is where I tend to put stuff for early access, but I do intend to post it publicly eventually (if I don't forget)
My bad, the body boss doesn't despawn...but the mind and soul ones do if you get too far away, you can message me on discord if you want the cheat so you can see that ending/get the progress without doing it all over
The cheats take you straight to their respective cutscenes, once you've seen a cutscene once it'll show up under the cheat enter box. There's also "reset" which can reset your progress if you want.
One recommendation: remove +XP upgrade, it's pretty useless. You would need above 20 levels to make it useful if each level required the same amount of XP (which is not the case). Your final level is not that far from the 20 mark at the end, so the +XP is rarely profitable. In other survivors like, +XP is useful because one game last long, so the bonus XP is profitable, plus often you gain more stat with each level, so even you don't get enough the be profitable level-wise, it's profitable for the stats on level-up.
For those having difficulty: focus everything on + attack and + attack speed (with seed, jack and D-bug to pick as soon as they appear).
Only pick sub weapon if no attack option (except maid (half your DMG) and mermaid (knockback) that you can pick if you are confortable with your current DMG) (the subweapons don't get more powerful so they are pretty useless at the end)
Make sure that you pick 2 times +speed (+ the +speed per kill) near the end to avoid more easily the attacks of the final boss, and pick 1 regen + 1 defense if you want safety.
Pick 2-3 +pickup range when you are confortable.
Only pick +XP if you only have defense option and you already have your safety margin
Thanks for the feed back! The items are definitively the sticking point, and now we have a better idea on how to make them a little more balanced in the future.
Sorry, do you want me to remove the strats? I put it because on my few first runs, I focused on XP+ and subweapons (Like I have the habits in other survivors) and failed pretty fast. I also avoided the seed since temporary buff is also something you avoid when you have the habits of survivors-like.
No it's fine. XD It was one of the most common issues that were expressed in the play testing, but we didn't have enough time to rebalance everything. We learned a lot on what to change if we make another one!
Realtalk the game's so easy that the strat is just to pick damage stats every time they pop up and avoid all the active attack skills, they're all worse than your actual attack. Anything past that is up to the player's own personal skill level and what they're comfortable with.
TL;DR: "For those having difficulty: focus everything on + attack and + attack speed (with seed, jack and D-bug to pick as soon as they appear)."
Great game, if a bit easy if you're familiar with the genre. I like the fact you can aim the sword with your mouse. The sprites are all ccute, and while the story is threadbare it doesn't need to be anything else.

So, when will the update come out or rather, will there be an update?
would love to see a newgame+ thing where you could get the fairies get even bigger and maybe even the main character
My game seams to be off center for some reason
Hopefully this is fixed in the current update! If not please contact us

Thank you so much for playing! I'm glad you liked it!
The game loaded up fine, but the text and menu UI appear mostly offscreen making it hard to read what's going on, is there a fix for this?
Yes, sort of. It'll be fixed whenever we can update the game after the judging period, I have a build already made that'll be ready for whenever that happens
This should now be fixed in the latest version

Excellent little game! Love all the fairy specific dialogue and references within the items. I'd love to see some future updates to this.
The animations you did for the bosses is simply amazing. I would love to see them posted in the form of gifs or videos.

Had a run end because the last boss despawned on me.
My bad, the body boss doesn't despawn...but the mind and soul ones do if you get too far away, you can message me on discord if you want the cheat so you can see that ending/get the progress without doing it all over
All good, I gave it a few more tried, managed to do it.
I do have one thing to nag about: Mind fairy's belly being smaller than the Body and Soul Fairy's bellies, in their little sprite version.
Sizing was nice in the end scene.
This should now be fixed in the latest version
what the cheat do?
now i see the effect nice there is other cheat?
